This universal powerline bus (UPB) starter kit includes two dimmer switches and an I/O module to help you control your lights in ways more convenient than what was originally designed by the electrician who wired your home. Replace any two switches in your wall with the included dimmer switches. Then, wire the I/O module directly to your security panel, allowing the switches to react based on commands sent or statuses reported from the security panel. Each switch is already pre-configured to the I/O module so you won’t need a computer or spend unnecessary time programming the devices to one another.
Based on how you the I/O module is wired, you can turn one or both lights on or blink both lights when it receives the signal from the security panel.
