The La Crosse Wireless Weather Forecast Station is an all-in-one device that offers up a plethora of helpful information. Some of the handy features of it are the ability to calculate sunrise and sunset, provide indoor/outdoor temperature readings, moon phase, weather forecast, calendar and digital clock.
The Wireless Weather Forecast Station comes pre-set with the ability to calculate the sunrise and sunset for 99 North American cities (which are listed on the last page of the PDF manual below). It can provide outdoor temperature readings in a range from -39°F to 139°F and indoor readings from 14°F to 139°F. In the bottom left hand corner of the LCD screen the weather forecast for the day will be shown via a visual representation such as a sun with a cloud over it if it is going to be partly cloudy. The time is displayed digitally and also includes an alarm clock function and the calendar provides the day, month and year. The Weather Station has a kick stand-like back to prop it up if displayed free standing or it can be hung on the wall via its hanging hole on the back. This Wall Mount Atomic Digital Clock from La Crosse is easy to read and automatically sets its time and date with the atomic clock in Ft. Collins, Colorado. The time is displayed in large, 4 inch digits so that it can be seen easier from a distance. The clock can show the time in a 12 or 24 hour display depending upon preference and it will automatically set to the user’s time zone. Along with time, this Atomic Digital Clock shows the month, date, day and current indoor temperature in either Fahrenheit or Celsius. Become your own weather forecaster with the La Crosse Technology Wireless Pro Weather Center with Photo Album. This all-in-one weather hub is loaded with features to give an accurate reading of the weather in real-time as well as forecasts and histories.
A variety of real-time weather conditions can be displayed through this station such as 5 weather icons depicting sunny, partly cloudy, cloudy, rainy and stormy. The Weather Center will also list the current indoor/outdoor temperatures and humidity, relative air pressure, wind speed, wind chill, wind direction and even the phase of the moon. This all-in-one station will even track daily, weekly and monthly rainfall in inches or millimeters. Rainfall is tracked via the included La Crosse rain gauge which is wireless and powered by 2 AA batteries sold separately. Also included is the La Crosse wireless wind sensor for monitoring all things wind related and it is powered by 2 AA batteries which are sold separately.
Though this product is a Wireless Weather Center it is not limited to only displaying weather conditions. This device also works as a digital photo album displaying images users add via a flash drive, SD or MMC card. Once loaded onto the Weather Center a slideshow will cycle through the pictures with the option of a 3 sec, 5 sec, 15 sec, 1 min, 15 min or 1 hour slideshow time with multiple transition effects. Images can be displayed as full screen or partial screen so that weather readings and time are still visible.
