The Enforcer Low-Voltage Battery Cut-Off prevents deep discharge of backup batteries. Use it to save power for a backup battery on your security system. If there is a power failure this device will ensure that your backup battery remains powered and your security system won’t go down. Alternatively, if power needs to be completely shut-off, a Master On/Off switch easily connects or disconnects the backup battery and AC power supply from the control panel. It ties directly into most 12V DC or 24 VDC power supplies or alarm panels for easy plug-and-play installation. Built-in LED indicators identify the power id being properly distributed.

The Enforcer Surface-Mount Magnetic Contact Sensor Switch is for normally closed circuits, which means that the when the magnets are lined up, the switch is closed. The magnetic contacts can be hardwired to almost any security system as a way to monitor doors, windows, and sliding doors. These particular sensors feature quick-connect, gold-plated wiring terminals with no wiring leads inside the wall, making for an easy install and a longer life that other similar sensors. They are extremely compact at only 2″ long and 1/4″ tall and can be mounted using the included screws or adhesive tap with up to a 1″ gap between sensors.
Monitor Doors, Windows and other Entry Points to your Property with a Hidden Sensor
July 11, 2009The most basic sensors of any alarm system is a door and window magnetic contact switch. Unlike conventional surface-mount magnetic contact switches, the Enforcer Recessed-Mount Magnetic Contact Sensor Switch are completely hidden once installed. It is designed for use with normally closed circuits, which means that when the magnets are lined up, the switch is closed. The magnetic contacts can be hardwired to almost any security system as a way to monitor doors, windows, and sliding doors. Each sensor is 1″ long and requires a 7/16″ wide hole to be drilled in the edge of a door or window jamb. The switch and magnet have ribs for securing in holes, allowing you to press fit them into place. There is an operational gap 3/4″. The wires are can be passed through the jamb and framing and run over to the alarm system controller. Both the switch and wire are completely invisible when the door or window is closed.
Compact Wireless Receiver Adds RF Remote Control to Any Device
July 10, 2009If you have a home, office or storefront that needs to remain secure by only granting entry to authorized people, the Enforcer Miniature 1-Channel RF Receiver can be part of the solution. The receiver will work with all SECO-LARM transmitters, sold separately, to remotely trigger a relay based device such as electronic/magnetic door strikes, also sold separately. The receiver will also work with most home security systems and vehicle alarm systems, letting you easily add wireless RF control to almost any relay based device up to 5 Amps. By using a transmitter with this receiver, you can unlock or secure doors, control house lights or a garage door remotely; it can even be used to arm or disarm a vehicle alarm and open or close a garage door. It will work with up to 15 different transmitter buttons and also has a CODEBUMP security built-in to prevent criminals from “learning” your codes. This wireless receiver lets you be the decision maker, by letting you add RF remote control to almost any electronic device or system in your home or vehicle.

July 10, 2009If you are tired of doors being left open, the Enforcer Surface-Mount Door Closer is the answer. With an anodized aluminum body and forged steel arms, this heavy-duty device can be mounted to metal or wood doors up to three feet, six inches wide and 88 pounds. Two valve adjustments have been built-in, one for adjusting the door closing speed and the other for adjusting the latching speed. This product is a great thing to have for the home or for an office building that need certain doors to remain closed. It will help to prevent hot air from coming in during the summer or cold air from coming in during the winter, saving you money on the cooling and heating bill.
Open a Door or Activate a Device with the Simple Wave of a Hand
July 9, 2009The Enforcer No Touch Request-To-Exit Sensor Switch from SECO-LARM uses IR technology to open a door or activate a device. Simply wave your hand in front of the switch (up to 4″ away) and the IR sensor will detect the motion, activating the built-in relay. The switch emits a cool green glow while in stand-by mode; once activated, the LED turns red to identify the relay has been triggered. Since there is no physical contact, this sensor is ideal for use in hospitals, clinics, labs, clean rooms (to reduce the risk of cross-contamination and spreading of germs) or for use in schools, factories, or offices (anywhere an easy way to exit is required). The rugged stainless steel plate fits inside of a standard single gang J-box and the quick-connect screwless terminal block makes wiring from the SPDT 3A relay output to a device you wish to control a breeze.
Use this Wireless Switch with a Wireless Relay to Remotely Trigger a Door or Gate to Open
July 9, 2009The ENFORCER Wireless RF Request-to-Exit Switch is the ideal solution for difficult access control installations. The device was designed as a wireless wall-mounted switch to remotely open a door or gate. It is a flexible solution that offers reliable transmission to trigger a relay when used with a SECO-LARM wireless RF receiver and a door strike or gate opener. This request-to-exit plate is perfect for placement on cement walls, brick walls or any other location where it is difficult to run wires and has a rugged stainless steel construction. The package includes a button which says “Push to Exit” and also comes with a Spanish button which says “Presione para Salir”; the button is illuminated by a green LED which indicates transmission and acts as a diagnostic tool to indicate normal operation and low battery. This product is powered by a 9V alkaline battery, sold separately.

Initiate an INSTEON Signal when a Low Voltage Power Source is Sensed
July 8, 2009Activate an automated scene in your home that will turn on (or off) INSTEON controlled lights and/or appliances whenever a device with low voltage power is turned on. This kit enhances your INSTEON network by using a Low Voltage Detector Probe to sense when power to a device (from 3V to 24V AC or DC) has been turned on. Once low voltage is sensed, a signal is sent to I/O Linc which in turn will trigger INSTEON controlled devices to turn on or off. This kit can be used in conjunction with relay type devices such as keypad access control systems to engage INSTEON scenes as you enter or exit. When a correct code has been entered on an access control keypad, allowing access through a gate, door, or garage door, the Low Voltage Detector Probe will be triggered when power is applied to the switched relay. You can use this kit in conjunction with a I/O Linc – INSTEON Remote Chime Alert Kit to have a audible signal sent, alerting you that a visitor has arrived – or simply create a lighting scene that will provide safety as you enter your home at night. This versatile kit can be used with almost any device that plugs into the wall with a low voltage power supply (provided it is between 3V and 24V AC or DC). Once the plugged in device is powered, the Low Voltage Detector Probe will sense and trigger an INSTEON scene.
