Avoid Costly Water Damage to your home with the INSTEON Water Leak Sensor

INSTEON Water Leak Sensor

The risk of water damage in a home is high. In fact, it is one of the most common home insurance claims. Every year millions of homeowners suffer billions of dollars in losses. But these losses can be reduced or even avoided altogether with the new INSTEON Leak Sensor.

Leak Sensor alerts you so you can stop the leak before damage to your home occurs. Simply add as many sensors as you’d like to the INSTEON Hub* (sold separately) and get instant alerts delivered via text/email to your smartphone. The INSTEON Hub also allows you to add cameras for remote monitoring, motion sensors, door/window sensors and of course control over lighting and appliances in your home.

*The Leak Sensor transmits via radio signals. The INSTEON Hub communicates via power-line only. Please be sure to have a Range Extender/Access Point or other dual-band INSTEON device installed for communication between Leak Sensor and INSTEON Hub.

For more advanced applications, consider HouseLinc or ISY-99. Together with a leak sensor you can activate a whole-house water shutoff valve when water is detected. These solutions also provide text/email alerts as well as more advanced conditional programming.

This easy to use, battery powered leak sensor can provide the early detection necessary to prevent leaks from creating major damage to your home.

The INSTEON Leak Sensor installs quickly and easily – no need to run wires or drill holes. Simply place the sensor near where water leaks may occur. Some common places are:

  • Washing machines
  • Toilets
  • Water heaters
  • Sinks
  • Refrigerators (water filters)
  • Dishwashers
  • Basements
  • Water Softeners

Wireless Indoor and Outdoor Temperature and Weather Station Kit

This wireless weather station kit displays time, indoor temperature, outdoor temperature and outdoor humidity. The kit comes with an indoor weather station and one outdoor thermo-hygro sensor, and is expandable to receive information from two additional outdoor sensors (sold separately). Using Instant Transmission technology, the weather station and sensor will communicate wirelessly from a distance of up to 330 feet, providing an immediate update (every 4.5 seconds) of the outdoor weather data measured by the sensor. With an outdoor temperature range of -39.8° F to 139.8° F and a humidity sensor from 1% to 99%, this device is the ideal choice for people in areas with extreme cold or hot weather climates to know exactly what their current conditions are. Additionally, a convenient “MIN/MAX” button will allow users to view the minimum and maximum temperature and humidity at any time. The station can be programmed for showing the temperature in Fahrenheit or Celsius and the clock can be adjusted to show time in a 12 or 24 hour format. All information is displayed on the weather station via a large, easy-to-read LCD display and can be mounted on a wall or stood on a flat surface. The weather station and the outdoor sensor are each powered by two AA batteries sold separately.

Product Title (In box)

  • Powered by solar panel or hydrogen fuel
  • No batteries required
  • Alternative power teaching aid
  • Educational yet also a fun toy
  • Real-working model of vehicles using hydrogen fuel

The H2GO Hybrid RC Car from Horizon combines next generation alternative energy education with all the joys of a toy remote controlled car. This entertaining teaching aid makes the H2GO kit an ideal tool for both kids and adults to take a hands-on approach in learning about how renewable energy works and the applications it possesses. The H2GO Hybrid RC Car can be powered by either solar energy or hydrogen fuel. When using the solar panel, energy from the sun will power the fueling station and charge the car’s super-capacitors as well as its remote control. To power the racer with hydrogen the fueling station needs to be filled with water so that it can draw hydrogen from it; the connected tube will then transfer the hydrogen to the car’s fuel cell for power. The H2GO Car doesn’t require the use of any batteries and is a real-working model scale version of current vehicles that are being powered by renewable and zero emission hydrogen fuel. Read More
