The Nitro Networks HWA-501M HiWATER Alert consists of an electronic device called the “HiWaterAlert” wired to a float switch in the bilge that detects when the water level rises above the threshold. This triggers the HiWater Alert to transmit an email or text message via your marina’s wireless or wired Internet connection. As long as the water level stays above the threshold, the alert is repeated at pre-determined intervals. Upon detecting a drop in the water level, the HiWaterAlert transmits an “all clear” message. The unit is powered by either a USB port or an AC adapter (cables provided).The float switch can be any standard model.
