The Hidden Link IR Receiver is a small shelf-top infrared repeater assembly. It includes an IR receiver and a CB12 Connecting Block. The Hidden Link IR Receiver is equipped with a 7-foot cable and a 3.5mm stereo mini plug, which is plugged directly into the “IR RCVR” jack on the CB12. It can also be plugged into the “AUX” or “IR RCVR” jack of other Xantech connecting blocks, such as the models 789-44, CB60, and 791-44. The Hidden Link IR Receiver is primarily intended for use in installations where the connecting block is within reach of its 7-foot cable – as when installing the Hidden Link IR Receiver in a cabinet where the controlled equipment is behind closed doors.

This version of the Hidden Link was is a compact, shelf-top design that can be placed on any surface and blend in with your existing décor. The use of this Hidden Link receiver along with the related connecting block, power supply and emitters will leave you with the clean lines of your entertainment center without looking at unsightly stacks of equipment and cables; enabling you to continue using your existing IR remote up to 30 feet away with the confidence it will communicate with your AV equipment behind doors and walls.

The 283DMW Blink-IR Designer Emitter contains a small Infrared LED housed in a miniature, designer styled, black appearing, injection molded plastic shell. Unlike other emitters, the 283DMW emits visible red light in addition to IR (infrared) control signals when activated by IR commands sent to it by IR receivers or other Xantech controllers. The 283DMW is designed to be installed directly on the IR sensor window of the controlled device.
