Product Title (In box)

Light ProbeLinc – LED and Light Detector Probe allows you to monitor the ‘On’ status of audio video (A/V) equipment (or other electronic devices) via a sensor that can be placed over the equipment indicator LED. Alternatively, the probe can be placed near an incandescent or fluorescent light source to monitor when it has been turned on. Light ProbeLinc can be used with a stereo receiver, cable or satellite TV receiver, CD player, DVD player, or anything that has a status LED light which turns on (or off depending on the player’s power status); or use it to sense ambient indoor or outdoor light. The output connector is a 1/8″ mini plug, which works well with an I/O Linc – INSTEON Low Voltage / Contact Closure, sold separately. When used together, once Light has been sensed, I/O Linc will receive notification from Light ProbeLinc and trigger an INSTEON device and/or scene to turn on or off.

Light ProbeLinc – LED and Light Detector Probe and I/O Linc are also available as a kit
