The most basic sensors of any alarm system is a door and window magnetic contact switch. The Enforcer Concealed Surface-Mount Magnetic Contact Switch is for normally closed circuits, which means that the when the magnets are lined up, the switch is closed. The magnetic contacts can be hardwired to almost any security system as a way to monitor doors, windows, and sliding doors. This “concealed” model features a cover that hides the mounting screws and wiring terminals for a professional looking finish. They are extremely compact at only 2″ long and 1/2″ tall. The contacts can be mounted using the included gold-plated screws and can be installed with up to a 1 1/4″ gap between sensors.
