The most basic sensors of any alarm system is a door and window magnetic contact switch. The Enforcer Surface-Mount Magnetic Contact Sensor Switch is for normally closed circuits, which means that the when the magnets are lined up, the switch is closed. The magnetic contacts can be hardwired to almost any security system as a way to monitor doors, windows, and sliding doors. These particular sensors feature quick-connect, gold-plated wiring terminals with no wiring leads inside the wall, making for an easy install and a longer life that other similar sensors. They are extremely compact at only 2″ long and 1/4″ tall and can be mounted using the included screws or adhesive tap with up to a 1″ gap between sensors.
