Product Title (In box)

The combination of baluns and inexpensive Cat. 5 cable allow for the distribution of audio, video and power over long distances. Two MuxLab VideoEase CCTV Video and Power-Thru Baluns (each sold separately) can be used to connect a video and power feed over long distances from a surveillance camera to monitor or DVR and power supply. Simply attach one balun at the sender (surveillance camera) utilizing the BNC connector and power wire leads, and a second balun at the receiver (display monitor or DVR and power supply). If needed, BNC adapters are available, sold separately. Then connect the two baluns using Cat. 5 cable with RJ-45 connectors. The VideoEase CCTV Video and Power-Thru Balun is used in pairs to transmit video up to 2200 feet away and/or power up to 518 feet away (depending on power supply voltage). Ideally, this type of balun can be used with closed-circuit TV (CCTV) equipment for security and surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras, monitors, DVRs, IP camera encoders, video switchers and CCTV camera servers. With an ultra-compact design, it can easily fit inside most dome cameras.
