The BIOREMOTE eliminates the need for keys, so there is no more fumbling around in the dark when you are trying to get inside, and you won’t have to worry about a key being duplicated. The optical biometric reader scans fingerprints at a resolution of 500 dots per inch (DPI), making it extremely secure. Up to 99 unique users can be given access to the door lock, making it easy for you to decide which family, friends, neighbors, or employees will have access to your home or business. Once a user fingerprint has been scanned into memory using the simple interface, that fingerprint will be recognized and the door will unlock anytime the user places their finger on the durable fingerprint optical sensor/reader in the future. You can add or delete users at anytime, and if you are having a party, you can turn the biometric function off so that the door lock opens freely. This lockset is designed to fit any door with a thickness from 1 5/32″ to 2 3/8″, and the door handle is reversible for right or left handed applications. An infrared (IR) remote is also included with this lockset, allowing you to wirelessly unlock the door from inside your home or business while relaxing on your couch or sitting at a desk. The remote is uniquely coded to the door lock and will work from up to 15 meters away. The door lock requires the use of four AA batteries and the handheld remote control requires the use of two AAA, each sold separately.
