Take advantage of LED technology and save money on your electric bill by using an energy efficient, environmentally friendly light bulb that is a suitable replacement of any indoor incandescent bulb. The EvoLux not only uses a mere 13 Watts of energy when compared to the normal 100 watts that is used by a regular 100 Watt incandescent light bulb, but it offers an equivalent amount of light. The EvoLux light bulb is also durable enough to last over 11 years at approximately eight hours usage per day, over 50,000 hours. What this means to you is a return on your investment within two to three years, saving you tons of money over the next eight to nine years. Compact fluorescent (CFL) bulbs use mercury and give off a humming sound, none of which is present with this LED. Additionally, the EvoLux generates little to no heat and isn’t susceptible to failure as a result of vibrations or repeated on/off switching. Unlike other LED bulbs that use up to eight different light engines, the EvoLux uses a single high powered light engine, creating a single point of light which is more visually appealing and close to the light pattern produced by a traditional light bulb. The EvoLux bulb also has safety in mind, as the housing is made of flame retardant plastic and is totally cool to the touch even after hours of consistent use; additionally, the lens and housing are shock proof and shatter proof.
