There is no longer a need to leave entertainment cabinet doors open simply to use your IR remote control. The Dinky Link Designer IR receiver is intended to be used with a Xantech connecting block, power supply and emitters, each sold separately, to create a system that will allow you to control audio and video components behind solid doors or walls using your existing IR remote. This version of the Dinky Link is LCD and CFL proof, so you can install it anywhere in a room with an LCD display and/or CFL lighting; it is even resistant to sunlight. It can be mounted to almost any surface using the included double-sided foam tape. The Dinky Link’s small size help to hide it amongst your AV components or behind a speaker grill. Up to four can be connected in series. The use of this Dinky Link receiver along with the related connecting block, power supply and emitters will leave you with the clean lines of your entertainment center without looking at unsightly stacks of equipment and cables; enabling you to continue using your existing IR remote up to 30 feet away with the confidence it will communicate with your AV equipment behind doors and walls.
