M1 Single Door Access Module

Traditional Elk M1 Keypads that are connected to your Elk Security System allow for basic coded access to your home or business and prevent unwanted visitors from coming in. To increase the security level, you can install this Elk single door Access Control Module as an alternative to having users remember PIN codes. The module connects to your Elk M1 Security System, and with the addition of an Elk Ultra Prox Weigand Reader, you can issue Elk M1 Keyfobs or Elk M1 Access Cards to users for entry. The maximum number of access modules that can be placed on a system is 16, minus any installed keypads. This unit also includes a relay (door unlock) output, a request to exit (RTE) input, a door contact sensor input, a Door Held Open Alarm output, a voltage output for System Ready to Arm, and it accepts Dallas “One-Wire” iButton readers/devices. The M1 Single Door Access Module can be mounted using a universal surface mount plastic housing that has knockouts for surface mount raceways
